Hi Lucky:

I looked at removing the adjustment stop but it is an integral part of the oil pump. There is a small cam that runs against the stop and activates the pump. The stop adjusts the stroke of the pump.

I think an auxilliary oiler it the answer for me. Should be pretty easy to build something.

I am just thinking out loud and it may be a stupid idea but have you give any thought to running some kind of adjustable drip line that would feed down onto the chain somehow through the side case maybe you could mount something on the top side of the saw. Our band saw mill has an adjustable drip line and instead of running water to lubricate we use diesel which is nice in the winter cause it wont freeeeeze!....................Wade

Hey Wade, try windshield wiper fluid instead of diesel. The woodmizer boys delivered my mill set up that way and I haven't noticed any problems, plus it doesn't have that nasty diesel stink.
