repainting saw

When you rebuild a saw do you repaint the metal parts? If so, what type of paint do you use? Does Stihl have a specific paint to match the original color? Thanks

Stihl paint part no. 0000 000 2102. I guess it is still available. Doesn't seem to work as good as original. Gas seems to cut it. Rich.

Jus tgot some in. Definitley as tough as original, but I think they bake it on. Still, looks nice when done.
It is light gray, not white.

I was wondering if the Stihl colors were the same. I thought when they stated Stihl Grey in the price list they meant the white.
Does the Orange look close StihlTech?
