Replace needle cast Spruce

Have a quantity of Blue Spruces with needle cast which are beyond hope and being removed. A few, maybe 3, will be saved (or attempted to anyway) with spray. Any ideas what might be planted in place of the Spruces that will be unaffected by the previous existence of the Spruces with needle cast. Looking for evergreen types sim. to Spruce. Location is eastern Nebraska.

Norway spruce are MUCH more resistant as are white. You could also look at SOME species of pine, excluding scots or Austrian.
