quite the endorsement!! sure glad I've got an old 064 in great condition.

I started my woodcutting career back in 1974 as a faller 8hrs a day 5 days a week.Have used Jonsereds, Huskies,Dolmars,Stihls. Best saw was the old 064 The only other saw I used with as close to its power/weight ratio was the 910 Jonsered

Well , the polls are in.

I should ether keep the 460 and buy a 361 or
Stay with the saw line up I have , It's the way to go.

And the winner is:

I think I'll keep what I have and buy a used 440.

Alot of you guys are running the 26, I have one, I think it sucks. Really is it me or what? The 34 or 36 aren't much heavier but they seem to have some guts.

Geez I write my very 1st post and I address it to the wrong guy, sorry about that Clearance! Don't sell the 460 reachtreeservi

No big thing. Welcome to the site. You got trees out there? I thought the praires were flat. Just joking. Did you ever run a 288XP? One of my favorites.

026

The 026 pro is a great saw we use it constantly in tree service work.Espescially in the tree or when your moving a lot on steep ground. Short bars and sharp chains get the job done with less fatigue.
My saws:
sugoi
192
ms200
026 pro
ms440
088
wish I had a 46

Up here in northern Manitoba trees are like hair on a dogs back, thats all we got trees ,swamps and lakes. Must also mention some of the most severe winter logging in the world 20 to 40 below for an average high temp.Omark[Oregon saw chain] Windsor,Stihl tested their bars and chains here in the1970's 1980's and 90's when I was falling for a living.I no longer fall for the company, now I run a tree service from spring to fall doing mostly residential. As a faller I tested the 1st Oregon Lg prototype chain in 1981 and their 1st radial port rim sprocket and Powermatch tip a year or so later.I tested Stihls 1st 044 Artic and RS chain with the sloped depth gauge in 1990.Also tested several bars for Windsor.Even a twin cylinder saw for Echo.
Yes I did try the Husky 288XP in 1991, was a strong saw for bucking on the landing but was a lb.+ heavier than the Stihl 064 which was my work saw.The 288 was also more bulky with the large airbox.
