$53 dollars for a Stihl replacement tip? This a local dealer or online?
Online, 2 different sources, so far
I haven’t had to replace a tip since the early 90s so things have changed a bit 
2 customer…28” stihl lite bars with fried tips.
he has several .063 3003 bars he no longer uses so I’m tempted to pull those tips off and use them.

I have used a few Forrester replacement tips on Stihl bars. The guys I supplied don't use the saws all day every day and they were delighted to get back into action with a little cash left in their pockets. One of those has been out in service for a couple of years now.

That’s more like it. Was gonna say I remember them being around $25 dollars.+ freight from Baileys. I’ll find out tomorrow what my dealer has them for.
