Restoring Mercury/Disston

Hi Guys,
I mentioned that I was restoring some DA211 Disstons. It is coming along and I finished the first one last Saturday. The next one will be the Mercury variant, the KA211 which is the same thing painted white and with a different name plate.

The last one I could rebuild as a Mercury or Disston. It will be coming together as a group of parts from a salvage saw (merc) and a burned one (Disston).

My question is which one is more desirable or rare?

Oh and I need a Disston Stinger or helper handle that goes on the end of the bar. Anyone have one in the junkpile?

I've never seen the Merc version. My guess is the Merc is less common.

bill g... hope he doesn't mind me mentioning... has a truckload of the merc stuff... came from when they were converting over to outboard... save em or maybe they'll go to scrap..
