Sounds like a total hack. And I have done a few cat rescues, I'm on Dan Krauses website too. It's fun and good PR..... Mike
man you climb like an old lady, my old fat ass could have beat you up there.
Brother if you had been behind my ass on the rope I would have run up that palm!
Hell I could have tossed you up there faster, not to mention you never got the cat he got down on his own running from you. I have heard that ##### always runs from you I just did nt know they meant that kind too.
Dude if I even thought you would put your arms around me I would borrow Dans bucketbuddy. I hear you are a champion tosser!
That cat was clearly being a pain in the proverbial. I edited heaps of footage out of me sticking my arm in as far as it could go and the cat wriggling away at the last moment. I was giving serious thought to "rescuing" it with my 660.
Midget tossing yes and I think you would qualify
heres some video of me sending you for a ride, your still wearing your harness
OoMT goes for a ride
I wasn't going to say it like that...but you could really use a pantin or mar bar setup.
It wouldn't have been possible to spike that palm anyways without giving them a pruning too on the way up would it have been?
yeah, my first thought was pantin. But that's because my arms are always tired from midget tossing...
Here's one we found that couldn't climb downMaybe I'm missing something here but why on earth would anyone have to "save" a cat that climbed a tree? They think the cat can't get down on it's own?

If a climber cannot rescue a cat from a tree without spurs he/she should hand in their gear and go dig ditches.
I didnt need spurs for this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rv6iDys3O-g
Outofmytree, what kind of friction device are you using in this video for your climb? I noticed you had a piece of hardware instead of a friction hitch.
I always just cut the tree sheesh

but the cat would still die of starvation waiting on grandpa rope-a-dope to get the tree on the ground....
In that case have to call your spry arse lol
