That cat was clearly being a pain in the proverbial. I edited heaps of footage out of me sticking my arm in as far as it could go and the cat wriggling away at the last moment. I was giving serious thought to "rescuing" it with my 660.

Actually it could have gotten down but it was OoMT's cat and he had been doing weird, perverted things to it, so the cat chose to stay up there. Same reason he was chasing the last cat up there.

Thats a schwabisch prussik tied in beeline with a petzl micro pully to advance the hitch.

I welcome any and all suggestions for slack tending as it is one area I clearly can improve in. Well other than racing S&M up the tree.

Oh and for the record, that was not my cat. All my #####'s died with smiles on their faces.

I like cats, but in a tree? 2 choices, a can of cat food at the base of the tree, or a .22 long hollow point.:hmm3grin2orange:
