has anyone use this with a hitch climber setup i wondering if the swivel will keep the rope from twisting when desending {twisting. hackeling}

I use one with a hitch climber pulley. What do you mean by descending? Do you mean on the hitch or on a figure 8 type device?

That swivel has nothing to do with ur rope hackling.

yea sorry on hicth and useing a friction saver i know the hicth or saver is causing this just wondering if i put a swivel on the top hole of the hicth climber pully will it fix the twisting

Are you using a VT? If so read this thread http://www.arboristsite.com/arborist-101/112154.htm. I love my hitch climber especially when I have the groundie pull up my gear for me.

That swivel will do u no good there.
