I agree that in the right situation or terrain the wrap handle could be an asset. When you remove trees from homeowners yards, the liabilities of the handle quickly outweigh the assets. I tried it and hated it. Removed both of them from my 372xpw and Univent, sold them and never looked back. If your industry may favor wraps, all the power to you. Nobody uses them here and somehow we seem to survive to cut another day.

Ahem....,cough, cough,.... I think you meant to type "the 7900 is the best 70cc class saw ever produced":bowdown:. It's an honest mistake, I know my fingers wander over the keyboard at times when I get too excited to put the right brand in there.:hmm3grin2orange:

Yup I like it feels beefy allows easier notching and keeps saw out of dirt while stumping and allows cutting from either side without back barring. I like them both though!

Ummm, naw, no mistake. The 7900 is the best 80cc saw but it is the only saw in that class, LOL.:D

Lol the funny thing is that saw may not get gas in it for five or more years. I will likely work the other 372's till they puke before breaking in the new one! So I can post a brand new old school 372 xpw in five buddy!

i climb every single day with a full wrap saw at the company i work at now. first was the 372xp with a wrap i had them buy. then went to the 460mag with a 3/4 wrap and now climb with the 372xpw. i make every cut that gets wood to the chipper or log pile. even on the butt cuts.

personally i wouldn't have it any other way. it allows your cutting to be that much more versatile and you can avoid putting your self in harms way as well.

even the dude that runs the grapple chipper at work prefers the wrap saw (my old climber that 372 i mentioned earlier). reaches for it every time he needs to make a cut. actually reaches past the 460 magnum with the regular handle to get to it......
