Which 3/4 inch rope out there has the most tensil strength?

I was looking at ropes a year or so back and could have swore I saw a 3/4 inch that was like 22k but I can't seem to find it now.

The Sherril catalog lists the 3/4" tenex at 22400lbs tensile strength. The tenex is not recommended for climbing or lowering (natural crotch anyway), as it picks easily. They also offer a 3/4" stable braid rated at 20400lbs.

Hope this helps.

Why?

Tree md, might I ask why you want to know? Yale Ultrex comes in at 75,000 pounds ABS for 3/4" rope....but chances are, it's not the right rope for what you're doing.

Strength really should be about the #2, #3, or #4 priority when choosing a rope. Some of the factors that make a rope STRONGER also make not last as long.

What are you planning on using the rope for?
