Hello, My Vibergs are done. Need a place to resole em with replaceable caulks, Viberg wants $200 plus shipping to kanukia, everyone I know of locally can't won't do it or can't speak english and don't understand what I need done. I would prefer someone in western Warshington but don't mind mailing them cross country. Thanks

Contact Oliver and Hammer in sedro wooley they should have a number for a cobbler in Mt. Vernon who does corks. Or they might be able to send them back to Viberg cheaper. They are sending my Wesco's back for me for resoling for about $150

I'M holding my bottoms on with brass screws and daily applications of black tape right now and I know whites will take forever. A cobbler that does corks and has a reasonable turnaround would be an awesome dude.

Woohoo! Contacted Oliver and Hammer and they sent me to Hoffmans boots in Ida hoe, where they send most of their stuff. Gonna cost around $100. plus shipping etc. and right now they are slow so turn around is less then 10 days. Oh yeah and they don't care who made em if they can put caulks on em they will... Makes me wanna steal some berkinsocks and have em caulked...:rolleyes2:

Ya I know. I have thought about putting corks on a pair of high top Romeos.

I been thinking bout sending my White's to Hoffmans for a resole. The soles are almost gone. They are a smokejumper-lineman hybrid...

They also will put in their shanks for an additional charge. Which would be nice for climbing.

Can't been the price and turnaround as far as I can tell..

I did call whites when looking to get the Vibergs fixed they said around $100. but only if they where whites... and that there turn around is about a week right now of course results may vary...

Yeah.. it was a few months ago when I called. I remember thinking that my boots would be gone for well over a month and at a very high price. Maybe that's cause I was asking about a minor rebuild as well as resole, the 3200 mile round trip doesn't help either.

There used to be a cobbler in old town Burlington down by Stowe's Dept. Store... but they have been long gone. Too bad too... cuz they used to do a bang up job on boots.

Gots em back, Looks like they replaced the entire sole inside and out, not surprised the old soles where the pound in non replaceable type, did a great job all together even sent some new laces, old ones where para cord... grand total including shipping both ways... 153.46 and gone for about two weeks a week of which was shipping...now if I can keep the saw out of em...
