Those that I save seen are very difficult to get an accurate reading at the top end as the scales are non-linear. On my example above of blower tuning, I don't think I could use a vibration type meter...
 
Won't/cant argue that. Let me rephrase, they are very acurate for what they are desinged for, lawn mower type engines. They work great at around 3600 rpm. Better?
