Rumor on Husqvarna 372xp replacement

Anyone heard that the Husqvarna will be replaced by a 475XP ? When was the 372XP originally introduced ? I was looking at buying the Stihl 440 or the Husqvarna 372XP, when a husky dealer told me this. Thought I'd try to confirm the rumor.

This link is the thread on the new huskies you are talking about. the 372 is being replaced by the 575.

your best bets, are either buy a 372 now,
and replace it with a 575 when the 372 is dead or buy a Stihl 044 and replace it with another 044 in a few years or so.

thanks for the info. I was searching on the 475 and not the correct model 575xp. After reading the link I do believe I'll be ordering a Stihl 440 or the Husky 372XP this fall.

good info.. i just had my 372 xp gone over and put back in shape by dan henry.. if they are gonna discontinue the thing,,looks like my timing was rite..
i know im old fashioned ,,but i still wish, they would leave a good thing alone..
