I have the opportunity in 2 weeks to visit Russia. I am being partly sponsored (travel costs) by a forest health specialist, and by a tree care company in the Moscow area. Since I am unemployed in the summer months and teach in the lowest paying state in the country, money for the balance of the trip will be very tight. I wondered if anyone knew of any groups or companies that could possibly help me raise about $500 or a portion thereof in return for exposure to tree care professionals in Russia or an article or presentation upon my return. Of course, I will try to post occasionally to this site while I am visiting there, so it will be very up to date news.
This is my first world traveling experience, except for Viet Nam compliments of Uncle Sam, so I am not an expert on the subject. I feel the opportunity is just too good to turn down.
