Many people complain about those Ryobi chainsaws and get only 3-star reviews, but they are very good as long as they are well cared for and maintained.

My verdict on this chainsaw is a 5 star ...👌👌👌😂

I have a troy built 4216 which is the same as a craftsman and just like this ryobi except it's 42cc. It works pretty good.

I like to mod saws and after a little work the 42cc troy built is a ripper, they are really easy to get more power out of.
The biggest problem with these saws is the air filter. It wont seal to the base/holder, I had to silicone it together to keep the fines out. It's sealed up good now but to clean the filter I have to take the top half of the filter off and blow it out, the bottom half stays on the saw.

I added a pond water filter on the cover for prefiltering.

Also, added the lock washer on the muffler's nut that I lost the bolt and nut due to the loose.

And replaced the gas return hose ETC.. Ryobi needs to improve those small things.

That's the reason it is cheap compared to Husqvarna Stihl.

But still it is a decent chainsaw for farm use and homeowners IMO
