Okay, don't know if anyone would have one of these or not.
The original one probably deteriorated with age, but if my research is correct, it is called a valve hose that slips over the fuel line on to the air valve that is screwed into the fuel tank.
I think it is nothing more than a small piece of foam/rubber hose that keeps the fuel in and still allows the air to pass through.

Page 4 shows #10 & #11 in the parts diagram. The piece in question is Part #11.
Anyone got any ideas. I think a piece of felt was tried with no success. Thanks for any help.
