Okay, don't know if anyone would have one of these or not.

The original one probably deteriorated with age, but if my research is correct, it is called a valve hose that slips over the fuel line on to the air valve that is screwed into the fuel tank.

I think it is nothing more than a small piece of foam/rubber hose that keeps the fuel in and still allows the air to pass through.

Page 4 shows #10 & #11 in the parts diagram. The piece in question is Part #11.

Anyone got any ideas. I think a piece of felt was tried with no success. Thanks for any help.
 
Nothing on fleabay...no Sachs/Dolmar dealers in this area anymore. Checked the local chain saw dealer through their old parts/saws, found one, but it was so badly rotted that it was unusable. nmurph, do you have a hook up or someone I can reach out to?
