I'm a believer in hearing protection, & the post below beat me to it. But, by the same tiken, how many wear the safety chaps, or logger pants?

I've ordered me some chaps and and hat with the face shield and earmuffs.

'gotta pair of the black Stihl ballistic nylon chaps that i wear for weekend firewood cutting and the occassional take down.

Got me a pair of the Bailey pants w/ kevlar. Hope I never have to see how well they work.

I have some Bailey's chaps that are ok-actually they're nice when its cold out-haven't used them in the warm yet. I got a "tall" size and they are still on the short side, but I suppose they needn't be as long as normal pants.

I typically wear my bucking pants and full headgear unless I am racing...then I wear chaps and earplugs...Walkers Saw Shop, myself, and many of the other sponsors carry these items as well...check out Hunter too...he prolly has them...support your AS sponsors!!

Chaps, hard hat with shield and muffs, gloves, steel toed boots. I have cut trees for many years and over time, every piece of safety equipment at one time or another, has saved me from being hurt. Also if I am doing much climbing I use knee pads also.

I do wear Chaps and Hardhat with face and hearing protection, any time we are on a job or any time I am cutting.
Thanks to Dennis for mentioning our shop and AS Sponsors.
We do have alot of styles and types of PPE, including chaps and hearing protection, and alot of gloves. If there is something you are looking for, please e-mail me or call. I will try to help you out any way I can.
Thanks
Hunter
