Well, yesterday I sold my little Rayco 1625 stump grinder. This is the machine I started with 3 years ago. It has been super dependable, and has made me a lot of money.
Since I got my big Bandit track machine this spring, I have only used the Rayco on 3 jobs all summer. I could not see just letting it set. So, When a guy in another town south of here expressed an interest in buying a good used grinder, I contacted him and we made a deal. He is just starting out, and needed a good small machine on a tight budget. I hated to part with it, but it went to a good home. Now, it is just me and the Bandit. (love those tracks, big diesel, and remote control).

not 1day goes by that i miss my rayco 1665ac tow behind since i got my mew morbark d52 with the wireless remote. nice to help theguy out where he is just starting .

Just wondered how you like that Morbark? Their stump grinders look kind of large and bulky, compared to similar models of other brands. I have heard good things about the Morbark equipment, but have never seen anyone with a Morbark stumpgrinder.

the morbarks are shaped funny, but with the multi tip teeth it cuts really good. i also like that the motor sits level on the frame and not on the cutter head like other models. the push blade is nice for clean up too.

Its nice to have a 2nd machine when things are real busy and you are waiting for parts on your main unit. It tends to piss off alot of tree guys and contractors.
