Salsco 810 xt roller feed problems

i have an 810 xt chipper and the roller feed has recently stopped working or is very very weak.

Does anybody have any advice ?
The chipper only has 800 hours

Are there any other hydraulic features to the chipper? If so, are they acting weak? If they are, you may have a hydraulic pump that is bad.

Hey Dave. The only other hydraulic components are the two cylinders that lift the feed wheels and they work great. The feed wheels spin but when a piece of debris is placed in the machine the roller feed jams and stops. There is a hissing sound coming from the control valve where the stop, forward and reverse bar is connected to.

Ok, it may need a detent kit in the valve that controls the feed bar. It sounds like oil is by passing and not going to the rollers.
