Today we dropped an oak tree from the ground not knowing there was a mama raccoon with her babies up there in a hollow the mom died within 15 seconds I'm assuming a broken spine 3 babies died and I got these 2 lil guys eyes still closed and every thing I felt really bad but saved the 2

My neighbour / helper / tormentor saved two little rascals a few years ago. Bigger than the ones in the photos.
He went to a vet for some advice and formula. Vet gave him an earful - sold him some expensive milk, and
told him that keeping them was illegal, and he needed to take said coons to an animal sanctuary....but the story gets better....animal sanctuary outfit asked to for precise location the coons were taken from, and told him that when they were old enough to be released, then they would be taken back to that exact spot.

My groundsman took a immature woodpecker home a few years back and him and his wife cared for it until it was ready to leave. It hung around their house all that summer.

Sure I took them home and they lived in the house they are so cool you will love them until they get big and tear the place apart then its time to go outside. If you walk them outside put them on a leash or they will run up a tree.

A wood pecker would be cool to nurse up to health. Both babies are drinking human prosobe formula the vet said it was fine but said most people buy kmr ( kitten milk replacement) but my daughter doesn't drink formula anymore so we had a lot of extra. But they seem to be doing good temp is steady and they are eating no signs of dehydration or injury even from the huge fall they took yesterday so I'm excited to get these guys up to par and let em Rome in the water lands behind my house that's protected. That's the goal here really

One of our ground guys took a baby squirrel home and bottle fed it and kept it for a pet, that was 3 years ago and he still has it. At night or when they're gone it goes in a big cage but when they're home it just runs around with the dog. Its litter trained too. If you give him a grape he's your best friend forever. His name is Julio.

Felled a dead tree that burst when it landed, and two baby squirrels fell out. My 8 yr old daughter nursed them with a toy doll bottle, kayro syrup and milk. They lived in the house till they got big enough to fend for themselves.

Nice glad to know I'm not the only one with a soft spot for babies animal or human preferably animal lol just kiddin
