The saw contest that will be held in Renous,NB will be on May.29. I thought the 15th but I was just told the difference. Hopefully everyone can still come.

bad date , move it ahead, there are way to many shows that weekend plus there is a big show the same day just 5 hours from you in Quebec an then again there is Webster WV that weekend so i would say move it or none of us will be there , we got to go where the money is

I hear what your sayin about the money thing so we will move it ahead to the 15th if that is better for you guys.

the 15th would be great, i forgot i am to be in Quebec the long weekend here, the 15 th is a go then maybe i can get gypo and some other guys to go also

The weekend of May 15 is Bath, NY. They are paying $125, 75, 50, 30, 20. Besides I can be at this show in 30 min.

Later,
Chris

Yes Chris i know , but we can go down to NB and check out the women

I would like to join you but it might cause some problems. Such as I might need full chain mail to protect all heads from being severd. And that would be the start.

Chris

it just leaves more for me , and there is alot of me so there is lots to around

The 15th is on. It we be held in Blackville. That is 10 minutes this side of Renous coming from Pauls. Probably 2 hours from Pauls. There will be 5 different classes. Cash prizes with a trophy. It is mostly a fund raiser. As long as the saws has the cc's for the class it doesnt matter what is done to them, but no pipe. Pipe is open. Is that alright?

Boy thats like bring a 350 motor but as long as its still a 350 I don't care that it runs on Alky/Nitro and has a B&M Blower as long ast it all fits under the hood...... Sounds like a stock appearing race to me... Have fun guys

Chris

Well, down here there is 4 or 5 alky saws and 30 or 40 gas saws. We don't see no sence in having seperate classes for them. I think if your gonna race you should be prepared anyways.

Never heard of it , what is it close to , i will ask Paul in the morning

Juniper is reaally called Tamernack. It is the only soft wood that looses it's color in the winter. It is something like Fir only not as pitchy. Seams to be good wood, not many knots.

I think Juniper is related to the cedars and is soft. What we call Tamarack here in Ontario anyway is pretty hard and knots are worse than Hemlock. I didnt think you get juniper big enough for a race. The biggest I have seen here in the north is 3 inches. What you guys cutting with...jacknives lol.

Frank

AND THE SURVEY SAYS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
we will stay with the popular or whitepine i think for the open

OK just wondering. We were back yesturday and got some wood. It is all Popular. Going to have 10x10 for open only because it is pretty hard to get.
