saw floods on horizontal cuts

I bought a used stihl 041 farm boss. It runs great when blocking but when I turn it on it's side for felling, it floods out, slows down and drips gas. Not every time, but more often than not. Looking for ideas on how to fix it.

Your carb likely needs rebuilding.. You may have a worn needle SEAT which if so means you'll be looking for another carb.

Your gas drip may just be the cap, but figure out where it's comming from.

The gas cap on my 041 FB I used to have leaked. I made a cork gasket for it, and it sealed it up.
