please forgive my ignorance. i have heard that if you remove the spark arrester from the 200t it improves performance... is this true for oh say a ms 360 or a 650? thanks

Yes, but you're probably better off leaving the screen there but enlarging and/or adding a second exhaust port.

Do a search on "muffler mod" and you'll have plenty of reading to do!
