Did you get a manual already?

Heres a post that talks about it

Edit: take a note of current settings by counting the number of turns in and write it down

Thanks for this. I have a parts manual for the Saw and also exploded diagram from Walbro for the carb.

I will write down all the settings of the screws before i full them out and soak it all in Carb cleaner just in case there is any old stale fuel deposits stuck anywhere.

i will keep you posted on what i find

After mucking around with the carby today, taking the jets all the way out and cleaning it thoroughly with carby cleaner it still wasn't getting fuel through the carby.
I started to chase a vac leak thinking that the impulse line may have been cracked etc. The fuel line is really fiddly to get back in through the tray so i routed it a different way and the saw now starts by itself.

The fuel line must have been pinched, its the only thing i can rule out.

No i just need to tune it and cut some wood :)

Thanks to everyone that has given me some direction to getting this thing running

Hi everyone,

Chasing more advise on this saw still.

I noticed that the ring sprocket looked fairly worn so i bought a new one as they are so cheap.
i went to replace the sprocket by removing the spark plug. removing the pull start cord so i can see the fly wheel and putting some pull cord rope into the cylinder and rotating the clutch by hand in a clockwise direction. assuming that all clutches are left hand thread. I made a removal tool as buying one online is going to take 4 plus weeks to get to me.

i cannot get the blood thing off. I have tried 2 different 1/2" impact guns and a 600mm 1/2" breaker bar and it wont budge. I thing the clutch has heated up at one point and fused itself to the crank.

My question is, is it certainly a left hand thread ? i cannot find anything specifically for the CS-6720 but what information i have found is for the CS-670 and the CS-680 which is the same family of saw.

2nd Question is, Can i apply heat to the clutch to try to remove it or will this affect the bearings and seals ?
