Sawdust on boards

So I was told I should get the sawdust off my boards or they will mold. It was 0* or -18*c on the weekend. The washer fluid and water mix froze right to the boards.
Is it really that bad?

I generally use one of the stickers to scrape most of the sawdust off. If you consistently use 1" stickers & the piles are covered but open on the sides there should be enough breeze going through there to blow the dust out when it dries out
