We have tested the actuator and the clutch, seem to be working fine. Must be something between actuator and switch. Any ideas on what else we can try before taking it to the Vemeer service center? Thanks....

Lift the hood, near the lower right side of the radiator you will find a black box or computor module. Blelow that module there is 3 (if i remeber correctly) relays. The relays have a bad habit of losing connection. Wiggle the connecters on those relays around and see if it starts working again. Mine is a SC505 so there could be some differences. Hope it helps. Thank you for your response....didn't see the black box under the hood which you are referring to...wires from actuator trace back to main control panel, must be different with this model...

When we put juice to the actuator it engages/disengages clutch....we replaced the switch...still not working...the cutter wheel only runs in the highest speed....since this thread began...we have been trying to run it, had stumps that needed to be ground out quickly....now the tracks are only running in high speed....we are putting it into the shop ~ Thanks for all the responses! It's great to have a community out here where we can go for help! ;-)
