I really like the Distel even after trying others it is the one I always go back to. This whole incident has really given me new saddle fever. Now do I want to spend around 300 or 500? Buy something that doesn't need any serious tweaking to get it to what I want. Like the idea of a knot free replaceable bridge so that narrows the field a bit but really like the look of the Ergovation!

Maybe I should get some Lava too?

Hi, I noticed you are looking at, er thinking about, a new saddle. Seems to be lots of thoughts about what is good, what is tough, what is comfortable. Me, I've been looking for awhile, as well. I don't have it yet, but I ordered one from Don Blair, Sierra Moreno, http://www.sierramoreno.com/. You may or may not like what you see there, but he is definitely worth talking to. Eljefe

eljefe, thanks for the link. I am seriously considering about three to four saddles right now...
Butterfly II
Glide II ( if still available )
Glide Light
Petzl Sequoia

These are in order of most highly considered to least considered. I ruled out the Ergovation and TreeMotion because of cost and the Cougar by Weaver because I am currently using an older Weaver saddle and thought I would try something different.
