I am trying to make my climbing setup more compact and at the same time less tangled when limb walking with two lines. I am thinking of putting an oval screwlink around my rope bridge, Exotica swivel, another oval screw link to a small pawl (3 holes). This will be my connection point: center hole for prussic loop when Drt/footlocking, outside holes for carabiners to rope spliced eyes and carabiners with pulley and double eye splice for Distel delight! Want some feedback about screwlocks. I have been using them for years to connect my flipline prussic to the my left side D-ring. I have thought about using a biner w/swivel but want one that is not as pointed in the loop because I would clip it around the rope bridge and screwlink the swivel to the pawl. The more I think about it the more confusing it becomes!:dizzy:

i think you can eliminate the first screwlink by just attaching the swivel right to your bridge.

actually when i googled your exotica swivel, i saw a double biner that swivel's. you should take a look at that. less junk on the bridge doing the same thing.

i'd be a jerk no to shed the light on that flipline adjuster thing. even if it isnt my idea. lol. again, thank you tom d.

I agree. I want to try it out soon. I just seem to be sinking money into rigging gear right now.

Aaaannnnnnnnnddddddd..........saving my pennies for an ergovation. Hopefully I will be able to look at one tomorrow. Vermeer in Findlay is having an open house with a rigging class. Sherrill will have some gear there.

29 bucks for the biner and 20ish for the HRCIII cordage baby. short money baby! woooo.

you going with the ergovation? sweet.

oldirty whats your idea for a flipline adjuster? I have been using a prussic on a screwlink for years but I am slowing turning into a gear junky. 22 bucks isn't that bad for that swivel biner. How would you use it for what you are thinking?

screw link to your d ring and then run the rope through the screwlink while putting the prussic to the rope and screwlink?

more or less the same way with that swivel biner except i can take it off the dring and put it on my bridge or front ring, turning it into another climbing line setup. biner goes to the d ring and rope goes through the captive eye swivel. its slick fo sho.

its not my idea. just using it.

Let's pick it apart.

I sent an email to them and to ISA.

Yeah! Can you believe it! He doesn't have his secondary attachment point, his flipline in use at all! That's just reckless!:monkey:
