Dang...gonna look for that box now, lolOut of curiosity I looked on eBay and found a Zeiss Diatal-C 4x32mm like mine... Buy now price of $600 with $15 shipping. That is in line with others I've seen in recent years...
I have several winter projects already...reassemble the 268, 350 and Stihl 031...all in boxes; clean up and rebuild a 44 and the new 61; go through the 372...needs at least rings and a muffler...@singinwoodwackr Looks like you visited my garage! I’ve got a white top awaiting service from one of my dad’s late best friends.
Yeah... nearly 40 years later they are going for 3 times what I paid and I've had a lifetime of use out of them... Follows well from one of my father's lines,Dang...gonna look for that box now, lol
Ended up ordering the Vortex Crossfire II, sight unseen. Probably more positive reviews for that model than anything in it's class and it sounds like Vortex has top notch customer service. I'll report back when she's mounted. Can't comment on the Weaver, but I have 4 Crossfire scopes on my firearms and I'm very happy with them (other than the fact that you often can't hear the adjustment clicks). Two of them have the 40 mm objective Lense, and 2 have the 50 mm (for more brightness). Two are on centerfire rifles, one is on my 870 rifled slug barrel, and one is on my Muzzleloader.
I have put several of my old scopes from the centerfire rifles on 22s and they all work just fine.
Good choice I thinkEnded up ordering the Vortex Crossfire II, sight unseen. Probably more positive reviews for that model than anything in it's class and it sounds like Vortex has top notch customer service. I'll report back when she's mounted.
Shame on you for swatting them!
I have a couple of Vortex brand scopes on a few guns and have been really satisfied with them.Afternoon fellas. I'm on the hunt for a new scope for my .22. Looking at either a 2.5-7x Weaver Classic or a 2-7x Vortex Crossfire. Any thoughts?
Nice looking truck not totally correct. Suspect it isn’t a Cheyenne super though
