Just curious with all the internet website talk lately.When you type yer buisness name are you bein found on search engines?

As far as the ranking goes when i type my company name in almost any search engine i pop up quick.

(This probably should have been in Buisness forum but im just curious)

When i goggled on my company name, i came up #61 on the list. My co. name includes the name of my town so i think that puts a few other links ahead of me.

goin by how far down on the list of links i am.You can have the best website and best advertising but if the search engines cant find it then its losin hits.My name is small and easy to remember.They can just type smalljobs or smalljobs tree and i will pop up almost immedietly.Just a little input for those of you that are tryin to start a buisness and launch a site.Remember to keep it simple.Always bigger is better but if they cant find it its almost like doin nothing.I did this post because without typn the actual address for alot of sites you will never find them.Ive built a few and never got many hits because of somethin small like that.(IE if yer name is like John Davids Tree Service.Dont assign yer site wuth the whole addy.Instead use like JDTS.com.Then tyou can advertise it better and if they just catch it on a drive by they can go back to work or home and remember it.JM2$
