Picked up this Sears H58G chainsaw yesterday. I believe it’s a 95cc saw with a tecumseh AH58 engine based on what I found online.
It definitely needs some work but for the most part appears to be complete. Missing a few small things like the oil tank cap and some little screws.
It’s not seized up, though it’s a little low on compression. The piston isn’t scored up though. It has no spark, so I’ll have to figure that out. The fuel lines and filter look like they are newer which is good.
The chain on it is in good shape and it’s huge! Appears to be 1/2” chain possibly as it’s bigger than the .404” chain on my pioneer.
I still have other saws to go through before I get to this one, but it should be a fun project trying to get this one to run again.
