My very first chainsaw was about a month ago that I had grabbed out of a huge metal recycling pile. There was a total of two that I acquired for free, I was intrigued to see if I could make them work again. To no Surprise both of them run awesome, the first one was the David Bradley 917, it used to have the 748 g sticker on it prior to me cleaning it to see if I could get it to run again. I know I know, a newbie move on my part, but anyways the saw should not have even run based on how bad the cylinder and piston was, I honed the cylinder, took out the sharp edges from the grooves on the piston and to my surprise it runs pretty damn good, not all said, here are a couple of pictures.
