What are popular for wrap around chaps? Never owned a pair so I need some input on what brands are good and roughly how much they cost. Any input on a good pair of chainsaw boots would also be appreciated. THNX

I just use regular steel toe boots.

The cheapest chaps I have seen are husqvarna 6 ply at Lowes. Mine were less than 50 bucks.

BRAND NEW PROFESSIONAL QUALITY Chainsaw Chaps. Made by the same company that makes them for Husqvarna and Stihl! Why pay more for that name brand printed on there when you can get the exact same quality for less? Compare these features and specs:

Outer Shell is 100% Polyester Oxford Weave with 12 protective layers layers (compare to many others which are only 4 or 6 layers) 14" wide leg coated with urethane for durability. Large flap pocket on left leg
One size fits most: adjustable waist to approx. 42", An extender belt is available to increase waist size if needed. Length 36" (we also offer them is 40" length.) See our other listings."
Sizing - Chap length is not the same as your pants length. Chaps are sized by overall length. To calculate your overall length, measure from your waist (where you would wear your belt) to the top of your foot or your instep

ASTM and UL classified
UL number: STH 6C

Side Note: I have only purched these from the seller, other than that I do not know the seller.
