So I have a few I can call but one is "retired" (has been for 3-4 years but still werks kinda) the other is in the phone book the third is driving a truck I don't care to see from people I don't care to do business with. So anyway is there a secret list somewhere on how to contact these guys? I generally work in Snohomish and a little bit of Skagit counties. Would be really nice to have a short log self loader lots of the stuff I do is very small scale. Thanks for any help

Have you talked with the guy at Olsen's on the way to Darrington

There are a couple down here. They aren't short loggers though. They have regular trucks. The only name I can think of right now is Nixon. I think they are in the Chehalis area.

Strange. We have a Nixon self loader down here. Both of my folks went to school with him. Hell of a good guy Mike is. Ive had him haul for the folks a couple of times when the cedar market was up.

I used Mike as well when I took out some big ornamental Redwood from in front of a woman's house in Winston. He had to get creative to load it. We also used him when my brother was logging that piece in Tenmile.
