self tending climbing system

I tried this method today, and experienced just what Dand was talking about by over extending the bridge and found it hard to reach. I have short arms, so when I extend the bridge to the point where I can just reach the knot, it still does not provide a long enough stride.

Hey if any of you guys are interested I could send you an anchor bridge set up so you can compare the different systems. The fixed length of this system kind of solves the problem with the sliding bridge.
