Just picked up a second hand MS261 M-C. M-tronic is super super frustrating, was running on the choke, then it wouldn't stay on when it was set to run, thought it was because the yellow lead from the solenoid was connected directly to ground instead of the spade terminal the black lead next to the red lead spade terminal. Once it's back together I'll share pictures. I then thought the microswitch that tells the saw that the choke is on might be broken so I took that apart and cleaned it up. That lead to no start at all. It's frustrating but I love this kind of thing. I mean it's annoying but It's always good to find a difficult one, it's satisfying when you get it fixed. I'm an ameature so It's not holding up other work. Mr. Benson could I get that service manual from you? I found a 661 manual and I've been going off that.
