I just got an old 12" Asplundh chuck & duck chipper. It's an oldie with a Ford in line 6 (looks like a 250) and manual clutch. Just completed the tune up, oil change, new battery & muffler, sheet metal repairs, engine fixes, etc and need to focus on replacing the knives. I ordered some new ones and soaked the bolts & wedges in PB for a week now. Does anyone have information on the procedure to replace and properly space the new knives? I've seen a lot of back and forth on this forum regarding the gap and can't find a manual. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
