Setting Your Beard on Fire!

Yesterday I was out cutting hazel brush and stuff then burning it in an area I'm cleaning up and improving this winter. Burning brush is always fun, ain't it?

Fire was flaring up nice and pretty in the dark and I threw a another big armload onto the flames. Whoosh! up came the flames and I heard a crackling sound but the heat didn't seem all that great.

But when I got home and looked in the mirror I found my beard was burned off on one side. Gracious me, I've had LOTS of holes burned in my hats but never in my beard before.

Does it mean anything?

Once upon a time I was going to burn some brush and stopped and picked up a gallon of diesel for firestarter (better than gas since it doesn't require standing back and throwing matches-just pour and light with one match). I bent over to light a twig where I'b dumped a quart of diesel on my pile and "Poof, No eyebrows" Singed my moustache and took my eyelashes out completely. It turned out that the delivery man topped off the diesel tank with Premium gasoline. A bunch of people got new engines. I guess I could have sued but I figured the hair would grow back. (It did). now I do a smell test on all diesel firestarter!

I have alcohol injection on my car, and last fall I emptied the tank for the winter. For some reason I decided I wanted to see how flammable 3 month old alcohol mixed with 40% water really was. So I opened my stove and tossed a couple ounces in

Well my head was engulfed in a fireball for about half a second and my dog was scared ****less. I singed half the hair on my head, my eyebrows, eyelashes, and stache. I had just gotten a haircut so I couldnt go back in. It took three weeks for my hair to get back to normal. There I just shared the stupidest thing I have ever done.

So the answer to the alcohol question is pretty ????ed flammable!!
