Can you sharpen yellowjackets? If so, what is the easiest way and what edges do you sharpen. Sorry, I'm new to this. I just got a Vermeer 352 and the teeth are not sharp at all. They cut, but not very well. Would it be better to just buy another set? Our dealer sells them for 10.00 bucks a piece, so for 200.00, I have a new set.
Thanks

David

My neighbor sharpens my sandvik teeth for $3 each including sandblasting them clean. He's been sharpening stuff for over 30 years. Bandsaw, chainsaw, handsaws, circular saws, chipper knives, just about anything. I could give you his name/number/address and you could send him a few to see what he could do with them.

Usually, after he gets them they look better than new. Plus, $3 each beats $10!! Might be best to buy another set and then send the dull ones out to be sharpened.

That would be awesome. You can email the info if you don't want to put it on here. Thanks
