Shawshank Oak blown down

Couldn't decide where to post this here ("Plant Health" forum?), but the old oak featured in the movie Shawshank Redemption has been blown over in a storm.

Yeah, in the eyes of most guys, trees might be for felling, but some do make their mark on culture and history.

That tree has been in bad shape for a while...it is not far from my mother-in-law. In fact I attended a meeting last fall about a mile from there (in the cabin from the opening scene).

If theres fans for a tree, then they should cut that tree into cookies and laminate a photo from the movie to it with a still from that scene and sell them and the money goes to a childrens hospital. That would make a ton of money
You could.make all sizes at different prices, for more affordability to people.
