Started my freshly rebuilt 200T last night. All went very well , turned it off and then started it again. I gave it two revs and then it just stopped dead in it's tracks. I thought the worse at first but then I pulled on the starter recoil/fan housing and it felt real weird. I proceeded to remove the housing to find that my flywheel had worked itself loose. I guess I forgot to tighten the retaining nut , :dizzy:. I pulled the flywheel out to find that I had sheared the keyway. My Q is , would the loose nut , causing the flywheel to work itself loose cause the shearing of the keyway? I still have a little bit of keyway in there but can not seem to get it out. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You can put the saw back together without replacing the key if you get it indexed correctly. The torque of the nut will combine with the friction of the tapered shaft to hold things where they need to be.
