She says that raptor thingy you said you might get is almost 3 g's........ask me why its so much...told her it will make my job a lot less fatiguing and ill have more energy at the end of the day....she said what ever your going buy what u want anyway......think I just got the ok for a raptor.

Yeah, I just found mine had come in today too... Went to vermeer to buy a few things today but they were out of the Safety Blue that I wanted to buy. Guess I'll just order it online. My Vermeer dealer sucks for keeping arborist supplies in stock. I guess it doesn't matter as long as I spend enough to get free shipping. I'm buying a few things and letting my new climber in training use my hand me downs. A new Zubat will be on the way. :)

I would like to have a wraptor and would definitely buy one if I was constantly climber 100+ foot trees everyday like I was over the Summer. Here my highest climbs are around 65' on the majority of trees. I can climb that high without even breaking a sweat. Wouldn't make a lot of sense to spend that much loot just for the few 100+ foot trees I get occasionally.

I have to kinda of agree with you....I think the wraptor is more of a want than a need.....now the grcs on the other hand hmmm hmmm hmmm decisions.

If you think that was getting an OK, then either you are headed for rough waters, or your wife is a lot nicer than mine was.

Rick

I pay myself with a paycheck every week.....so my buisness would be buying the wraptor or grcs.....its just my check might not be as big that week..lol.....the wife don't need to know the second part

The wraptor is much more bang for your buck IMO. Even if you don't "need" it, its just such a fun toy to have in the truck. That stupid grcs just collects dust in the shop... that reminds me, gotta replace the handle the guys lost on that thing this year..

catalog.....

got mine today..... seems like this thing is getting fuller and fuller of more useless crap that is a complete rip off..... i see pictures of guys with all that #### on their saddles.... i got to thinking .... are they serious? i m not carrying all that..... looks like they invent more #### gadgets every time..... i got a good laugh out of the mingo firewood marker for 30 bucks.... if this catalog gets any fatter i m going to roll it up and make a nice log for the fire...

Well, it is true that our catalog has grown over the years... One of our goals, as always, is simply to deliver the gear our customers need (and want), be it the latest gadget, or the old tried and true stuff. If we think a product has merit, we're willing to put it in the catalog. There will always be those products that are a miss, but that's just part of putting out a catalog. That's why we listen intently to the tree forums, and are very inviting of feedback, because it helps us shape and improve our selection.

As for the saddle photos, I tend to agree with you, especially on the treeMotion photo. However, there's actually a reason behind it. Many of the new saddles have a lot of accessory attachment points, and many of those attachment points aren't all that noticeable in a photo without actually showing things attached to it. So, for some of those saddles, we'll load them up so people can see the various attachment points.

Like I said, any and all feedback is helpful. Please feel free to send me any questions or comments, either through the site or to my direct email: [email protected]

Thanks!

Personally, I like looking at everything in the catalog. Even though its true that 60% of I would never buy. But hey, one mans trash is another mans treasure.
