Can anyone tell me the usps postal cost for shipping a 19 lb saw from zip code 01902 to Canada postal code-b3g-1b4 using USPS? This would be economy post. I have tried and have one result with another person having a different result so i thought to try an impartial calculation. This will only be an estimate and no-one is under any obligation to do this but i am confused at the moment and would appreciate the assistance. I don't want to try and stiff the guy or appear to be nickel and dime-ing him. Thanks.

Using USPS.The saw would come from the US to Canada.

Thanks Cut4Fun, i got pretty much the same, $23.50 USD and as stated don't mind packaging fee or gas/mileage to postal outlet etc. Thanks

That was usps without insurance and tracking. UPS was $35 standard ground.

Honestly, I always add about $5-$8 dollars when I ship a saw. It seems like it is always more when you get to the post office. Somewhere between the calculator online, and the scale and clerk at the post office, it always seems to go up. I've burned myself on shipping a couple of times when I sold on ebay. FWIW.

NEVER use UPS when shipping to Canada, please we beg you !!!! UPS charges between $40 and 100 dollars for a "processing fee" . this is ON top of the Customs Duties and shipping, and the recipient gets nailed with the bill. (even on USED equipment).

USPS is the best method to Canada, as it goes directly to our postal system CANADA POST, and the recipient gets a parcel notice. No fees involved with USPS.

an example of the OUTRAGEOUS fees that UPS charges is:

i ordered a $3 bottle of leather dye from the States. With shipping and duties it came to $10 CDN. With the UPS "processing fee" it came to $80 CDN, as they felt it warranted "special handling".

:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: UPS is absolutely HORRIBLE if your a Canadian recipient. Great inthe states, but a nightmare ($$$$$$$) for us canadians.

PLEASE use USPS!

yes they do. (fedEx). There is also DHL courier.

USPS parcel is still the best though.
