Scored this motor for cheap, lookslike it could be the start for a new logsplitter, what do you all think. Also if anyone knows where all the wires on this goes/where i can find the missing parts let me know.

Get all of the numbers off of the case, go to your B&S dealer....before anything else is done tho, have you made this thang run?

Get the model number and go to the B&S website and then look up your wiring diagram.

yes it does run, not for long tho, if i give it a shot of ether it will run. I ordered the throttle bracket, a carb kit and some other part for the throttle bracket they toldme i'd need.

not really sure

But it might need 12 volts to make the low oil switch work. I do not know if you were hooked up to a battery or if you just tug started it. red wire will go to the start button.

clean the carb so it runs w/out ether ( I hope you actually are using starting fluid with an upper cylinder lube ) then decide what to do..

won't run without it, as soon as it starts it stalls out b/c the governor plate is missing and it just closes the throttle. yea, i know to use starting fluid.
