Yep I say we get rid of all the forums and lets just have a lunch box forum and we can all just say what we want and nobody has to think before we post.
In fact we can be as low on the evolutionary scale as we want.

I have no problem with people having a view different than mine. I do not doubt Reeds ability and experience in tree care (his military stories are another subject). However, lately he has chosen not to expound on his tree knowledge but instead to be controversial. I am not saying I am lilly white. I have noticed a lot of references to what OW has contributed in the past. What about recently? I'm wondering if I'm developing an unfair bias towards OW. By responding the other members are allowing me to see other perspectives and I don't think that's all bad. The thread is helpful when viewed through my filter. Maybe I'm being selfish.......Naaaah.

I read this 'suggestion' this morning, I didn't have time to reply...but it left a very bad feeling.
KC mentioned 'book burning' and that's one of the things that came to mind. "If I don't like it (or believe it) it's GOT to be wrong....and wrong for EVERYONE."
I had to wonder if I was in the right place anymore. Thankfully....the other members' responses backed me up that I was.

When you limit the issues to vote on to the choices you presented that's about as democratic as asking Congress and the nation to approve a war action after giving them only false information.
Again, relax a bit...take some breaths, losing your cool is failure number one in surviving a condition red. You did carry that log didn't you..or not?
Maybe stay away from the newspapers or t.v. for a few days. Climb man, or haul. Aside from standing in the surf, up a tree is about as therapeutic as one can get. I did it today and look how mellow I'm being!

She had a sharp tongue and was quite entertaing, to me anyway. Regularly, people would call in and try to berate her. She would stop them and share a service that she and her producer provided. For ten dollars they would get the callers address, come out to their house, find the radio...AND TURN IT OFF!!! If you don't like what Reed is saying, why do you read?

I have to vote no on banning OW, me, him and a few others have battled it out in the O/T forum and I'm sure he thinks I'm as far off the mark as I think he is , but I will admit if me and him ever agree on something then I will have to rethink my view on it .

I was absolutely clueless about X-man's problem with OakWilt, and that's because Oakwilt speaks his mind OFF TOPIC, like where this thread should be. I can't say I know of an instance where OakWilt has ranted off-topic topics in commercial treecare and climbing.
Off topic, you should be able to express yourself however you want. No need to dis a fellow member up front here in public when your problem is in the back room. Take this thread off-topic so you don't detract from someone else's valuable learning time.
