KF, is this really fair? I know that you believe that Simon intentionally avoided providing to you a 395 to run against Ed's (please let me know if I misunderstood). Perhaps give Simon time to recover, and he will provide a 395 to you so that you can make the comparrisons. :censored:, give the man a chance.

well he modded a 385xp for KF_tree intead of the 395xp that he originally wanted so I would be hell pissed too if I found someone I asked to build me a saw had done the opposite to what I specified good on ya for the posting this KF as it proves that some just can not be relied on for getting things right. Simonizer I know you have a rooted shoulder or whatever but no excuse for the cock up prior to the injury on the customer specs on the model 395xp means 395xp not 385xp. far as I am concerened there is no such thing as political correctness when it comes to botch ups. anyone else who wants to have a crack at Kf for this thread think of this, you go to a car dealer you order a ford mustang and you get a toyota would you be hell pissed about it.

Ha ha. Ordering a Ford and getting a Toyota is like ordering a hot-dog and getting a Prime-Rib dinner. Your analogies are severely lacking. Incidentally, I told Ken I would build him a 395 when I am feeling up to it. (Hopefully around the end of JAN 06.) Cut me some fu**ing slack buddy.

I could be wrong, but didn't he say he had a 395 made up that he could send you? Then you said you wanted a 395, at which point he got hurt.
Even where you posted quotes to illustrate the problem, nowhere did Simon say he had a modded 395 ready to send you.
That's like going to a Ford dealer and being mad they didn't have a Toyota to sell you.
So maybe you could clarify the problem better, I'm kinda thick.

i also had no problem waiting for the saw I wanted, I never presured him for a saw. when ever it arrived was fine with me. plus you are not privy to the pm's between me and simon.

the analogy i like is i hired a contractor to build a 4 room addition on my house and he felt i only needed 3 rooms.

i think you said 385 where 395 should be...

mike since when did you ever worry about being pc? the only reason i started this thread was for a laugh, i thought it was pretty funny when i came up with it.

what annoys me is i repeatedly said 395 and he never addressed the issue and wanted to send what he wanted. also ,all my pm's said 395.

Oops, fixed it.

It was funny, or would have been funny if Simon was a BSer, but my BS detector is only reading one or two buckets, not anywhere near a full truckload or more. Now my Ahole detector, thats reading off the charts.
