I have a Husqvarna 350 chainsaw which I’ve owned for over 10 years. never had this problem in the past. After adjusting the chain properly and it can be pulled freely around the bar it tightens up after several minutes (20-30)of runtime. It’s so tight you can’t pull the chain along the bar I readjusted the chain tension, and after running it again, it tightens up to the point that it won’t move. The bar wheel spins freely and it’s lubricated every time I gas up. The oiler is functioning properly. When the chain tightens up, I can still pull the chain up out of the bar groove on the top and the bottom so it’s not seizing in the bar either. The clutch plate is snug down good and tight after each adjustment. I’m wondering if there is friction between the clutch drum and the chain break that causes those two to heat up and stops the chain from moving. Has anyone else experienced this.
