Yep, looks like a knockoff of a shindaiwa to me. these things annoy me for some reason.

OZ an internet search for Sina chainsaws came up with only 2 web sites, both located in Australia. Perhaps an oz-importer is having his own in house brand name stuck on these.

Notice how much alike those two saws look? the Sina is an import from china with some local guy putting his badges on it. same knockoff different stickers.

I asked a question about these saws on our local auction site here in NZ and I asked if they were shindaiwa replicas and apparently according to the guy running the auction they are supposed to be copies of the Redmax saws that komatsu/zenoah put out and by looking at the pics at redmax.com the sinas are nearly identical to the redmax saws

yep looks exactly like my redmax....plenty of copies getting around these days..

they are also under the brands craft top and good luck also they appear to be fairly good on the construction side as they have magnesium alloy crankcases instead of a plastic crankcase even my dolmar has more plastic than michael jackson on it
