https://www.sawsuppliers.com/collec...mbo-kit-limited-stock-while-supplies-last.com has large mount echo branded bars with lpx chain for sixty bucks. 24 and 28 inch in .058 and 28 inch in .050. They’re rebadged powermatch bars so it’s a pretty decent deal. I grabbed two 24 inch bars and free shipping took two weeks so they threw in an extra for the delay. Good people to deal with for sure.

He also does a six pack for 100, if you offer 80-90 bucks that’s even better. I’m on my first C85 x-cut chain and it’s awesome, can’t beat it at that price.

Is it really a big difference? I am reading up on the chain and there seems to be a lot of marketing about Husqvarna full control of the process but not on how much better C85 is over H48.

He may have chains for 28 inch but you can also buy some cheaper 84 dl and make your own. I offered 75 bucks for 6 h48 chains and was accepted, which works out to cheaper than 100 foot roll price.
I bought 8 - 6packs for the 79.96 had seen on saturday there was another listing (By lawn mower parts ,com) for 68.?? for 4 or more but they only had 3 packs left Then on the next monday the restocked to 10 available. (Left 80$ on the table) So check the rest of the deals.. for the best deal.

That is a lot of chain!

I think so, h48 is rebranded Oregon lgx which is a good chain but some say it’s a little soft. I only have experience with lpx and exp which I like but the new Husky chain is closer to Stihl. It’s harder and stays sharp longer than any Oregon chain. Time will tell if it stretches less than Stihl chain which seems to be an issue lately.

This deal is still going.

Bought a three pack of 16" bars Oregon in 0.058 and near 25ft of good chain for the price of it sometime back. The bars were under twenty bucks so why not. The chain shot was cheap from some dusty shelf. Found a 25ft reel on that same dusty shelf of Carlton and some TSC 375 1.6mm. Took a bit of time but the presets were out there along with some Windsor bits in that deal. Finding the Homelite and nos Pioneer bar pile while hunting was nice.

I bought one of the 28" .058 combo's and the chain arrived like this:

While it was easy enough to fix it, I have to wonder why they didn't put a little more thought into their chain assembly.

After all, they had to punch that cutter out to break the chain in that spot.

Is that Lgx ? All the bar/chain combos I got were factory made lpx. I’m pretty sure sawsuppliers.com is an offshoot of an oil distributor so they’re not necessarily Chainsaw people.

I did order some Echo parts through them and they asked me to verify a part that it turned out I had misordered. So someone went over my order, noticed a part that wasn’t related to the other parts and emailed me to confirm, which saved me from buying a useless part. For echo parts they’re a good source but if I get chain from them again I’ll keep an eye out for mistakes.
