Hi Guys,
I am just getting started in the tree/brush clearing buisness after 15 years of residential site work and landscaping. I have clear many building lots and taken down plenty of trees. I'm no climber and don't plan on doing that.
I looking into getting a bigger skid steer (presently own Volvo MC70) and attachments. Any opnion on these would help me out!
Bradco Stump Grinder -
How do you price stumps? Per inch? Different for hardwood/softwoods? What will a skid steer mounted grinder compare to size wise in a gas or diesel?
Valby chipper -
I have priced chipping jobs but I am wondering how fast this would be. Anyone operate one? or an Alitec or Bearcat. Are they worth the $$.
Loftness Timber AX -
I was looking into bidding on some right away work but not sure if the extra cost over a rotary cutter is worth it. It seems the rotary may be faster? Anyone know how they compare.
Thanks, Ted
